Artist's Description
This painting was created with Walnut Ink on a 9 x 12" Archie's water color block in Hawaii with a spot light for the light, shadow effects. Walnut ink is made from the husk of the walnuts. This image was done in master's techniques by building layers upon layers so the light can reflect at different angles and is not just flat. It took me straight 16 hours to paint this. It was hard to quit because of ambience of the piece the lights were so beautiful. I had to make myself quit because I was exhausted after working on it 16 hours at a stretch without taking a break.
Note: Please REDUCE the image to fit the 5x7 CARDS, so that the image is NOT cropped to keep the integrity of the original image.
