Artist's Description
This painting was done in oil on a 5 x 7" stretched linen from a photograph I had taken when I was visiting mountains (himalayas) in india with my family. There were many tribal women working the fields outside and they had sun worn and experienced faces that were so intriguing showing the hard life they had lived experiencing the harshness of climate as well as life. The older ones carried more experiences in the lines of their faces and still carried their beautiful smiles. This woman was sitting on the side of the mountain with her daughter enjoying some quite moments with each other and didn't mind me taking their picture.
Note: Please REDUCE the image (if ned to) to fit the 5x7 CARDS, so that the image is NOT cropped to keep the integrity of the original image.

My art was born out of the need to create symmetry out of asymmetry, harmony out of disharmony and order out of chaos in the explosively violent world where life itself has become an industrial commodity to satisfy the lust of the consumer, capitalistic world overpowered by the greed,...
