Description
This painting was done in acrylic on a 7 x 11" Strathmor Smooth paper. I painted this from a photograph that I took my visit to Botanical garden at Bogor, Indonesia. These water lilies are so big and beautiful..., the colors were changed around to suit my own mood. It gives me an inspiration about staying above the temptations of life, even when living in it... Lotus is a symbol of peace and enlightenment in hindu and buddhist mythology and is connected with all the major Gods and Goddesses and Buddha himself.
